Privacy Policy

Effective Date

Effective Date: March 20, 2026. Last Updated: March 20, 2026.

1. Independent Contractor Model

This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who apply to deliver, register to deliver, or provide

delivery services through the Afromark Delivery App as independent contractors. Delivery partners

use the platform as independent contractors and not as employees, unless Afromark expressly states

otherwise in a separate written agreement. The policy is written for the practical reality of operating

a delivery platform in New York City, where dispatch, navigation, trip records, worker notices,

safety concerns, and payout history are central parts of platform operations.

2. Information We Collect

Afromark may collect personal information such as full name, date of birth, phone number, email

address, home address, profile photo, login credentials, tax and payout information, government-

issued identification where required, insurance information where applicable, emergency contact

information if provided, and communications sent to support or compliance teams. We may also

collect precise and approximate location data, trip timestamps, pickup and drop-off information,

route history, device identifiers, IP address, network and diagnostics data, crash logs, and account-

security logs. In the course of operating a delivery platform, we may generate records relating to

account status, availability periods, acceptance and cancellation history, completed deliveries,

payout calculations, support history, complaint history, fraud flags, and safety or policy review

outcomes.

3. Why We Use This Information

We use delivery-partner information to review applications, verify identity, create and manage

accounts, provide access to delivery opportunities, dispatch and route deliveries, show pickup and

drop-off details, provide navigation support, communicate with partners, calculate payouts and

incentives, respond to incidents or complaints, investigate fraud, protect customers and merchants,

maintain platform security, preserve operational records, and comply with legal obligations. In a

New York City operating environment, records about trip timing, availability, communications, and

support outcomes may also be used to meet notice, recordkeeping, internal audit, insurance, and

dispute-handling needs.

4. Delivery Data and GPS Tracking

Because the delivery service depends on dispatch and route execution, location data is essential to

the service. Afromark may collect precise GPS data while a partner is online in the app, reviewing

offers, traveling to pickup, delivering, resolving disputes, or otherwise participating in active

delivery workflows. We may use this data to match available partners with deliveries, verify pickup

and drop-off events, calculate route-related records, support customer service, investigate non-

delivery claims, deter fraud, and help address safety incidents. Device-level permissions may be

required for certain app functions, and disabling required permissions may limit access to delivery

opportunities or certain features.

5. Communications and Notices

We may communicate with delivery partners by in-app notification, email, phone, or text for trip

offers, dispatch updates, safety alerts, account and payout notices, verification requests, policy

updates, and legally required worker notices. Because the app may operate in New York City,

Afromark may provide worker-rights notices, operational notices, or compliance communications in

app, by email, or by text where appropriate.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with merchants, customers, payout providers, identity-verification

vendors, mapping and routing vendors, fraud-prevention vendors, cloud hosting and support

vendors, insurers, professional advisors, and government authorities where required by law or

reasonably necessary to operate and protect the platform. Information shared with customers or

merchants is limited to what is reasonably necessary to complete a delivery, provide support,

investigate complaints, or meet legal obligations. Afromark does not state in this policy that it sells

contractor personal information for money.

7. Retention and Records

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for account administration, dispatch and

delivery operations, payout and tax records, fraud and safety reviews, dispute resolution, legal

compliance, insurance matters, support history, and internal audit needs. In practice, a New York

City delivery platform may need to retain trip-level data, communication history, account review

outcomes, and related operational records so that the company can respond to worker complaints,

customer complaints, fraud issues, inquiries from insurers, and lawful governmental requests.

8. Data Security

Afromark uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect

delivery-partner information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These safeguards may include authentication controls, limited role-based access, device and server

logging, vendor oversight, and incident-response procedures. Because login credentials, payout

records, identification documents, and location history can be sensitive, access to such information

should be restricted to personnel with a legitimate business need.

9. Verification, Background Checks, and Risk Reviews

Where permitted by law, Afromark may conduct identity verification, document review, fraud

screening, and background checks through trusted vendors. These reviews may be used to assess

onboarding eligibility, continued access to the platform, and safety-related account decisions.

Afromark may also request additional documents or clarification where account activity creates

fraud, compliance, or safety concerns.

10. Automated Monitoring and Account Review

Afromark may use automated systems to detect suspicious location behavior, duplicate accounts,

unusual device or login activity, delivery fraud, document mismatch, or safety concerns. Significant

account actions may also involve human review. Automated flags do not necessarily mean a

violation occurred, but they may lead to additional verification, temporary restrictions, or a

compliance review.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, delivery partners may request access to certain personal information,

request correction of inaccurate information, and request deletion of certain information where

legally permitted. Some records may need to be retained even after a request is made if the records

are necessary for security, legal, tax, payout, insurance, fraud, or regulatory reasons. Delivery

partners may also manage certain permissions, including some device-location permissions, through

device settings, although disabling required permissions may prevent core app functions from

working as intended.

12. Children and Third-Party Services

The Delivery App is not intended for anyone under 18, and Afromark does not knowingly allow

minors to register as delivery partners. The platform may integrate with or link to third-party

services such as mapping providers, payment and payout vendors, communications services, and

verification vendors; those services may have their own terms and policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be posted in the app, on

the website, or communicated by email or other reasonable means.
